I have gentoo 2005 live cd and gento 2004.3 live cd. when i load the 2004.3 the device get IP normal. But when i boot with 2005 i don't get IP from the dhcp server, i restart any too, the netcard with the ./net.eth0 restart command but i get the same result the dhcpc... something not ending. If configure the IP whit the net-setup command, i get a write configuration, but when i do ping to the default gateway "192.168.0.1", for example, i get the message "From the 192.168.0.101 (IP of my laptop) destination unrehable". If i do ping from the 192.168.0.101 to my self, this work.

I send you a log message that i get with the tail -f /var/log/message

We can't fix obsolete media. Reopen if you have the same issue with 2005.1-r1 and include some information to debug the problem (log, which network card, etc. etc.)
