Description bware 2006-02-06 05:57:37 UTC
JEuclid is a MathML to GIF or SVG converter.

It was designed for Cocoon, but I need it for enabling MathML support in Apache FOP.

Initial ebuild

This is a very preliminary ebuild, it is enough to build JEuclid in a form suitable for use with Apache FOP, I have not tested it standalone or with Cocoon.

Licence

This seems to be a unique 'Apache style' licence.

Corrected Licence header

JEuclid uses a near verbatim copy of the Apache-1.1 licence. However as nowhere does JEuclid specifically say it uses the Apache licence. Not being a lawyer I can only suggest we use the exact wording from Jeucild.

This library has now reached version 2.9.3 ( a couple of days ago ).

Its build system has also switched to that of Maven :(

The attached ebuild is generation 1 java ebuild, uses ant and is therefore completely out of date.

dev-java/jeuclid-2.9.7

Ebuild for new jeuclid 0.9.7. This ebuild could be used by FOP where it's needed for MathML support.
