Bug 121538 – emerge -vpuDN world does not update all packages

i just wanted to recompile epiphany since it was broken and i found out that a newer version than i have installed is available, but emerge never wanted to update:

psycho@LiNuX ~ $ sudo emerge -vpuD --newuse world

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:
