I have a similar problem on AMD64. However, for me it doesn't even work as root. The user field appears, but the server field does not, no matter how I try to run it. emerge --info Portage 2.0.54 (default-linux/amd64/2005.1, gcc-3.4.4, glibc-2.3.5-r2, 2.6.15.1 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.15.1 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3700+ Gentoo Base System version 1.6.14 distcc 2.18.3 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5-r2, 2.4.2 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.12 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r1 sys-devel/binutils: 2.16.1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.22 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.11-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O3 -pipe" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O3 -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig distlocks sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://mirror.datapipe.net/gentoo" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="amd64 X Xaw3d acl acpi aim alsa apache2 arts atlas audiofile avi berkdb bitmap-fonts bonobo bzip2 cdr crypt cups curl dga doc dri dvd eds emacs emboss encode esd ethereal evo expat fam fastcgi fbcon flac flash foomaticdb fortran gb gd gdbm gif glut gmp gnome gpm gps gstreamer gtk gtk2 gtkhtml guile hbci idn imagemagick imap imlib innodb ipv6 jabber java jikes jpeg junit kde kerberos kqemu lcms ldap leim libgda libwww lua lzw lzw-tiff mad maildir mbox mhash mng motif mozilla mp3 mpeg mpi msn mule ncurses nls oav oci8 odbc offensive ofx ogg oggvorbis openal opengl oscar pam pcmcia pcre pda pdflib perl pie plotutils png pnp postgres python qt quicktime quotes radeon readline samba sasl sdl slp smime snmp socks5 softmmu spell ssl tcltk tcpd tetex theora tiff truetype truetype-fonts trusted type1-fonts udev usb userlocales videos vorbis wmf xface xinerama xml xml2 xmms xpm xv zeo zlib userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, LINGUAS, MAKEOPTS do you guys have evolution-data-server compiled +ldap +kerberos? (In reply to comment #2) > do you guys have evolution-data-server compiled +ldap +kerberos? > Yes I have both of these flags set. I actually save the problem by removing all the gnome config files from my home directory see this post: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-427452.html This is not a real solution though... I think I still have the old config files save somewhere. Let me know if you want to see them. The unmerge of all things exchange followed by a re-emerge and a rm -rf ~/.evolution fixed this problem for me. @reporter: are you still having this problem? needinfo, no response from reporter |
