Bug 121057 – Evolution 2.4.2.1 crashes when selecting contact from address book

When adding a contact to an email, by clicking the To: button and using the resulting form, Evolution always crashes or hard-locks instead of adding the contact to the recipient list.

Steps to repeat:

1) Open Evolution 2.4.2.1
2) Click New to create a new message
3) Click To: to start adding recipients
4) Double-click on a recipient

Here is the output when run from the command line - it doesn't seem to relevant but who knows?
