Happens on both up- and downgrading from/to gnome-base/orbit-2.12.3 and 2.12.4
There seems to exist no scrollkeeper-config on my system, but
scrollkeeper-extract       scrollkeeper-get-cl        scrollkeeper-preinstall    scrollkeeper-update
scrollkeeper-gen-seriesid  scrollkeeper-install       scrollkeeper-uninstall

what version of scrollkeeper do you have installed?

does re-emerging scrollkeeper change anything?

please attach equery f scrollkeeper output.

Oops, i should have checked that, no version is installed at all. Seems those files are leftovers dating back to 2002 that were not unmerged properly.

Removing them solved the problem, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
