When I try to emerge gtk-sharp-2.8.0, I get the following error:

checking for MONO_CAIRO... configure: error: You need to install Mono.Cairo.dll and its pkgconfig file or set PKG_CONFIG_PATH to find it.

Mono.Cairo.dll exists in two places:
/usr/lib/mono/gac/Mono.Cairo/1.0.5000.0__0738eb9f132ed756/
/usr/lib/mono/gac/Mono.Cairo/2.0.3600.0__0738eb9f132ed756/

I'm running stable, but all my *-sharp packages are ~x86.
