okay, expect is installed by dev-tcltk/expect, but what package installs the "runtest" executable? and the main question is should those packages be appended to DEPEND just for being able to run the tests? seems a little too much if you ask me. # which runtest /usr/bin/runtest # qfile /usr/bin/runtest dev-util/dejagnu (/usr/bin/runtest) fixed in the same version by using make vcheck instead of make check. fortunately, this target don't need dev-tcltk/expect nor dev-util/dejagnu installed on your system to actually run the tests. I chosed to use vcheck because the check target fails on x86 too, but at zmodem-errors test (lsz -q8 <-> lrz -q --errors 32768). Strangely enough, after a successfull "ebuild lrzsz-0.12.20-r1.ebuild merge", running the same test from command line succeeded! Created attachment 78923 [details]
