Description eipi 2006-01-25 07:11:06 UTC
When throwing startkde, the process (splash) hangs during the initialisation of peripherals for many minutes. Afterwards, it process (almost) normally.

After some investigations, it seems that commenting out the following two lines in 'startkde' solves my problem (maybe temporarily...):

#KDE_FULL_SESSION=true
#export KDE_FULL_SESSION

I don't really understand why. ksmserver is hanging when these env var are set.
