Description Sergey Belyashov 2006-01-20 11:44:11 UTC
mc --version:
GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.0
Virtual File System: tarfs, extfs, cpiofs, ftpfs, fish, smbfs
With builtin Editor
Using system-installed S-Lang library with terminfo database
With subshell support as default
With support for background operations
With mouse support on xterm and Linux console
With support for X11 events
With internationalization support
With multiple codepages support

I run it and connect via shell link as root. I can change directories, rename files and directories, download. But when I try to upload some big files:
- progress bar moving
- increasing number (I think this is size of file in bytes) appear in the top line of terminal
- when number stop increasing mc hangs or connection dropped (some time).

However, sftp works properly.

Comment 1 Emanuele Giaquinta (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-18 07:58:46 UTC
Does it still occur with mc-4.6.1 ?
Comment 2 Sergey Belyashov 2006-04-18 10:28:57 UTC
No, it does not.
Comment 3 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-18 10:47:07 UTC
Thanks for reporting back, closing. 4.6.1 should get stable keywords soon, see
Bug 130299.
