Description Will Briggs 2006-01-18 04:34:52 UTC
I've reported to mozilla bugzilla (Bug 323586) but no-one can confirm. Have decided to report it downstream because I guess it could be library-interaction or other gentoo-specific build-from-source issues.

The problem:
Just upgraded to Thunderbird 1.5.

Previous version - 1.0.7 - correctly handled mailto URLs of the form:
mailto:A B<A.B@domain.com>,B C<B.C@domain.com>,D E<de@otherdomain.com>

I'm using Firefox 1.5 to click on the URL although the bug still appears when giving the URL (enclosed in "") on the command-line.

1.0.7 would open a compose window with the multiple addresses listed in a
number of To: fields. 1.5 opens a compose window with only one To: field
listing the first address from the URL.

Are you sure about resolving duplicate?

It's _close_ to 119120 but it's not the same.

It's _not_ firefox related: yes clicking in firefox doesn't handle the comma, but neither does _thunderbird_ handle it from the command-line (which I assume has nothing to do with firefox).

I've already reported this upstream - but if it's going to come from someone with gentoo clout then I think it should be reported separately to 119120.

Can you let me know the upstream bug number?
