Patch to include DESTDIR in makefile
Might be a better way to do this...
ehm, isn't this stuff already included in tcsh ebuild itself? I removed all of it, and put it in the /usr/share/doc/tcsh-6.14-r3/examples directory. This ebuild installs everything where it needs to be and installs a script 'tcshrc_config' that allows easy opt-in for existing users and easy configuration if root wants these login scripts for new users. I think it is the ideal situation to have this as a separate ebuild from tcsh because of the ease of installation of the login scripts offered by the ebuild and having to run the 'tcshrc_config' script to actually implement the scripts. This ebuild is similar to: app-shells/bash-completion app-shells/bash-completion-config app-shells/gentoo-bashcomp Created attachment 96497 [details]

Had to change the SRC_URI to get it to work. Actually, don't know how it worked before.

Upstream looks very much dead, there have been no commits to the repository for 11 years. It has no Web page either, just the SourceForge project page. In light of not having received any comments for 2 months, assuming there is no longer any user demand for this package. With both that and upstream appearing to be dead, closing the bug. |
