When kuroo is displayed with German locales the special characters ä,ö,ü, etc. are not displayed correct. I extracted the tarball manually and analysed de.po. The file has been converted to UTF-8 multiple times. For example ö should be encoded as <C3><B6> but is encoded as <C3><83><C2><83><C3><82><C2><B6>. The file has been converted two times into UTF-8 by error. This is fixed in kuroo-0.80.0_rc1 see http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-425470-highlight-kuroo.html Hopefully in Portage soon. This should now be fixed as 0.80.0 is in portage now. Thanks. |
