installed flac which had to emerge a load of unecessary packages (xmms - why cant it just emerge the flac library without all the rest) and now i get another error:



checking for socket in -lsocket... no
configure: error: conditional "COND_SQL" was never defined.
Usually this means the macro was only invoked conditionally.

you probably have xmms in your USE flags (inherited from your profile?) - set USE="-xmms" if you don't want it

Building without flac seems to be fine for me on latest nightlie I've just committed, please test.
If it's still an issue, please try to contact upstream, these nightlies are p.masked because are not yet a release from upstream.
