Created attachment 77171 [details, diff] Patch to convert wyrd-1.1.1.ebuild to wyrd-1.2.0.ebuild Update dependency on remind from 03.00.23 to 03.00.24 and allow parallel builds (they now work according to http://www.eecs.umich.edu/~pelzlpj/wyrd/ChangeLog ) Hope this is OK... Now in CVS. Hi Tom, wyrd has a really strange remind version check (see below): - --help isn't supplied by upstream - the 01-filename patch for remind removes the output of 'Usage' I think we should remove this version check as we depend on a sufficient version anyway. | # check Remind version | REMINDVERSION=`remind --help 2> /dev/null | head -n 2 | tail -n 1 | cut -d ' ' -f 2` | echo "remind version is $REMINDVERSION" returns: remind version is 2006 Hi Tove, OK, I saw the weird version number but it didn't seem to stop wyrd complaining! I suspect that the version number detected by wyrd will always be the current year. I think you're right that we should remove the check for cleanliness. I'll patch configure.in and re-run autoconf. Tom OK, the broken check for the remind version has been removed. |
