It also depends on x11-misc/gccmakedep, which I just discovered as of two seconds ago. It *does* depend on them... Hm. For some reason, when I was trying to install Modular X, those dependencies were resolved out-of-order. This isn't the first time something like that has happened with these packages. Yet trying to re-emerge Xaw3d did not pull them in as dependencies. After I manually emerged imake and gccmakedep, I was able to emerge Xaw3d. As a dependency of gccmakedep, xorg-cf-files also got pulled in and also had never been on this system before. Given the other recent duplicate bugs, perhaps there really is something wrong with the ebuild for Xaw3d or there may be some other problem. I didn't see this as an out of order problem.
