just emerged lineakd, kde-plugins and lineakconfig
running lineakconfig (both as user and root) gives me a "Speicherzugriffsfehler" (sorry, don't know the exact english term, would be something like "could not access mem")

Remerging didn't change a thing.

I get the same error message!

`echo LC_MESSAGES=\"C\" >> /etc/env.d/02locale`. changes the error messages to english. And please post the exact error lines.
