There is a new version of libexif, which should improve issues in which GIMP is unable to load certain JPEG files: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300186

I tried to adapt an ebuild, but run into problems with make install, so if someone experienced could bump the version in Gentoo, I'd be grateful.

In the last lines of the ebuild libexif.so.9 should be changed into libexif.so.10 (twice). Sorry about that.
