removing esound gives me:
juk: error while loading shared libraries: libesd.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

esound is not listed as a dependency of JuK or as a dependency of a JuK dependency.

this is against JuK 3.5.0

bah humbug, revdep-rebuild rebuilt juk, but I had to re-emerge juk to actually get it to work. Weird.
