What more can I say ... no command line output or anything else. :-\

eq-xmms _worked_ but I don't use it because of http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74831

i don't understand what's wrong with eq-xmms or the main xmms equalizer it works fine here.

what plugins are you using... try removing all of them and see where is the problem.

Okay, the problem is caused by xmms-mad-0.8. This can easily be tested since (de)activation of the plug in is enough to show the problem.

eq-xmms was bumped can you try and see if it works ?
Reopen if you have the same problem.

try 0.6-r5 then 0.7 please
