Description Stuart Herbert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-03 15:20:32 UTC
The UPSTREAM b2evolution package is particularly prone to comment and trackback spam. This is a patch to add anti-spam measures to b2evolution-0.9.1.

Best regards,
Stu

Thats a bit of a megapatch. Will you be maintaining it for future releases too?
Comment 2 Stuart Herbert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-18 14:10:41 UTC
Yes, as long as I continue to use b2evo personally.

Best regards,
Stu

If you are happy to continue working with the patches then I suggest you just commit this. Also if you wanted to take over maintainership I would have no objection. I'm not very quick, as you might have noticed ;)

Still planning to take over this package? If not, feel free to send this back.
Comment 5 Robin Smidsrød 2006-05-22 02:41:25 UTC
As far as I can tell, this patch is part of upstream version 0.9.2. Maybe it's time to upgrade to that version?
Comment 6 Daniel Drake (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-30 10:49:26 UTC
0.9.2 now in portage. It probably doesn't contain all this antispam stuff but spam should decrease somewhat over 0.9.1.
Comment 7 Stuart Herbert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-08 23:54:16 UTC
Hi,

Now that later versions of b2evo include improved anti-spam, there's no real point in continuing with this patch.

Best regards,
Stu
