Confirmed on x86 (without following above howto). Fluxter works like a charm here. Maybe you didn't tried it with fluxbox? Fluxter is designed for use with fluxbox window manager. Please cancel the removal and remove the hard mask from it. I've unmasked it, plus 18 Nov 2007; Samuli Suominen <drac@gentoo.org> +files/fluxter-0.1.0-asneeded.patch, fluxter-0.1.0.ebuild: Fix building with --as-needed & amd64 stable. This is why we have 60 days waiting period. Thanks George for pushing me to check it. Must be reopened. fluxter is supposed to work in non-fluxbox environment, as stated in its README. There are even two configs: fluxter.bb for fluxbox env and fluxter.nobb for non-fluxbox env. When started - it automatically picks correct config variant. Dependency in dock is not issue, as there's cli option to started as normal window. For anone, who seeks replacement - netwmpager is just fine. Strange, they got it with fluxbox too, althouth I thought, it's only without it: https://sourceforge.net/p/fluxbox/mailman/message/20093867/ |
