I was using the above guide and during the emerge section, instead of d/l the file and compiling it... i got the following:

emerge ivtv

The guide asked for errors to be sent to entered in this bug report and assigned to cardoe@gentoo.org.  I must admit I am not a very advanced Gentoo user and it has been a while.  Perhaps there is something that I could simply change to help it find the file.... but i just haven't done this in so long.  It appears the file isn't there.

While that guide is generally for the most part wrong on 99% of stuff even though I do try to fix it... It is actually right here, you didn't follow the instructions on the line directly above.

However, since 0.2.0 is outdated and no-longer considered functional to me... I got rid of it.
