Description M. Edward Borasky 2005-12-29 08:45:57 UTC
It looks like the Axiom project is progressing nicely since this ebuild made it into Portage. They pulled a "stable" tarball in September, release 3.9, which can be found at

http://axiom.axiom-developer.org/axiom-website/DOWNLOADS/axiom-Sept2005-src.tgz

So I think the ebuild that installs Axiom from source can be retired. I don't know if you still need the package mask either.

By the way, their repository is at Savannah

Oops ... meant to say "installs Axiom from *CVS* can be retired".

I think I'll keep the ebuild in (and keep just that ebuild package.mask'd) but adding snapshots in would definitely be a good idea <TM>.
