No, please attach any relevant patches here and reopen then. Also, such requests in general should be filed upstream, so that users of other distributions can benefit from that as well.

You get an unsolicited patch and your first word in response is "No"?

If you'd looked at the URL, you'd have seen that the bug and fix are already reported upstream. If you want it, you know where to find it.
