I copied the streamripper-1.61.11.ebuild and added libogg, libvorbis to DEPEND. I tested it on alpha and was able to rip streams without any problems. I got one warning when playing the rip with mplayer: "Ogg : bad packet in stream 0" (it happened when the song first started playing, but everything sounded okay. xmms and vlc didn't complain when I played the rip with them.

They just haven't put this on their news page, but it can be found under "Downloads". I have installed it recently and it works ok. Oh, libvorbis and libogg seem to be necessary for this version, too. I tested the ebuild on alpha and got the same results as in Comment #1.
