This package is included with tetex-3.0_p1 (although it is not the latest release of the package).
Is it because you want the latest version or because it is not shipped with your version of tetex (in that case, what version are you using?)?

I use the latest stable (2.0.2-r5), it's not included with that.
Is the 3.0 becoming stable anytime soon ?
Comment 5 Martin Ehmsen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-19 12:03:24 UTC
Not likely, so I'll add the algorithms package one of these days.

This is definitely one of our goals, and as far as I am concerned, tetex-3.0_p1-r1 seems a good candidate, but it will be at least a couple months before it happens, and possibly much more.

About your ebuild:
- keywords are wrong, no new package goes directly to arch and we'll strip them to whatever arches we'll be able to test ourself
- don't attach the various files (Manifest, ChangeLog, etc...) as they can all be generated from the ebuild (except for ChangeLog but that's up to devs to write things in it)

Other than that, it looks fine. Thanks.
Comment 7 Martin Ehmsen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-20 03:23:22 UTC
It is in cvs now.
