Bug 116622 – mozilla-firefox-bin fails to start up

mozilla-firefox-bin fails to start up with a floating point exception, apparently preceeded by a failure in /opt/firefox/libxpcom_compat.so to get version information out of libstdc++.so.5. This binary is sort of critical at this point, because it's the only way to view websites that use flash on the amd64 platform.

this is due to the fact libstdc++-v3 is not installed. Please install and I will correct the deps on the ebuild.

I have just updated the deps. You can use flash with 64bit firefox, look @ http://dev.gentoo.org/herbs for an overlay to a program known as nspluginwrapper.
