I ran into this same problem this week, and found[1] a better fix[2] than setting those environment variables: xvattr -a XV_AUTOPAINT_COLORKEY -v 1 (from package media-video/xvattr-1.3-r1) [1] https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/ogle-user/2005-August/002477.html [2] not sure if 'fix' is the right word, but it makes ogle work with xv This is not a gentoo-specific problem, please report upstream. |
