Using monetdb 4.8.2-1 ebuild.
Compilation doesn't produce nodebug version of PHP module.

Even changed ebuild script by hand, have not been able to compile module as nodebug version.

There is a new ebuild for the newest release 4.10.0.  Could you try that one and reopen if appropriate?
