xvidcap-1.1.3-new-ffmpeg.patch

Description Christian Parpart (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-15 10:13:07 UTC
xvidcap compiles fine with
 =media-video/ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20050226-r5

but fails with latest
 media-video/ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20051120

due to source incompatibilities in ffmpeg 0.4.9 itself.

I couldn't find any xvidcap update on this yet....

Doesn't work here either
Comment 2 Alexandru Toma 2006-01-05 07:12:53 UTC
Also doesn't work with media-video/ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20051216

stupid fix for new ffmpeg

With this patch I'm able to compile/run xvidcap, however I'm unable to record anything with it. If always fails with:

"[mpeg1video @ 0x2aaaabf2f050]only YUV420 is supported
could not open codec"

If --> It

And I have to add that with "ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20050226-r5" I'm unable to record too: it always fails with something "not supported"...

Examples:

[mpeg1video @ 0x2aaaabee0a30]MPEG1/2 doesnt support 10/1 fps
could not open codec

xtoffmpeg.XImageToFFMPEG(): image depth 32 not supported ... aborting

[mjpeg @ 0x2aaaabee0a30]colorspace not supported in jpeg

xtoffmpeg.XImageToFFMPEG(): image depth 32 not supported ... aborting

...
