Description Gregg Casillo 2005-12-13 15:28:36 UTC
I have had this problem since upgrading from the latest 3.4.x version to
3.5.0. I have the setting enabled that allows me to go back on page in the
browser's history by simply right clicking (Configure Konqueror - Web Behavior
- Mouse Behavior - [X] Right click goes back in history).

Lately when browsing eBay listings, if I right click to go back, the browser
has crashed. Completely disappears from the monitor it is on. This problem is
sporadic though. It does not happen all the time. I am unsure whether clicking
the back button in the menu will cause the browser to crash, but I do not
believe it does (rarely use that). I am also unsure if this happens on other
sites; I've been hitting eBay mostly the last week or two.

I'd let this slide, but I use this "right click to go back" feature quite a
bit. It's a damn good feature that I miss when I use Firefox at work. Not sure
what else I can tell you to clue you in, but here's my emerge info FYI:

Thanks!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Browse eBay pages, perhaps other web sites in konqueror-3.5.0 (including
-r1)
2. Right click to go back in browser's history.
3. Browser crashes. Have to start it again.

You may want to try running konqueror inside of gdb to see if you can get a
backtrace, but you'll probably want to notify the konqueror devs at
bugs.kde.org so they can investigate and hopefully patch the problem.
