Description Denilson Sá Maia 2005-12-12 11:05:51 UTC
Whenever kernel is changed, any (external) module must be recompiled. Currently,
there are two ways to recompile kqemu module: manually, or re-emerging the
entire qemu-softmmu.

I only use qemu-softmmu, so I don't know if this also applies to qemu-user.

A possible (and reasonable) solution would be a separate "qemu-kqemu" or "kqemu"
ebuild, which would only install kqemu module. It would be an optional
dependency of qemu/qemu-softmmu/qemu-user when using kqemu useflag.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

I'm using qemu-softmmu-0.7.2
