dammit.. sorry.. that 'on all platforms' is stupid.. please ignore :/ Teamspeak does not link to alsa-lib it accesses /dev/dsp directly. Alsa provides a /dev/dsp (if you enable the neccessary kernel support) and so oss apps will run perfectly well on their own. If you want to use aoss{32} on any arch you must first emerge it. Can you do at least this: if using alsa but not oss then require emul-soundlibs ? Because a user that has "alsa -oss" most probably wants to use aoss{32}. |
