Uhh why not? Is emerge reporting an error here? You should be able to un-merge
openoffice-1.X and have no issues.
There is no reason for OO.o 2.0 to unmerge 1.0, they are slotted and can co-
exist fine.
If there is a problem with emerge and unmerging 1.X please change the summary
and re-open the bug.
*** Bug 114623 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 114774 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Reopen. 1) Works here, old version gets uninstalled fine, they are both in the same slot, keeping two versions makes no sense 2) openoffice 1.1.4 and openoffice 2.0.0 are NOT in the same directory 3) This bug report makes no sense at all, things like point 2 are plain wrong. You either modified the ebuild or did not install all versions through the ebuild. Closing. |
