I disagree. On an initial install kuroo tries to use kdiff3 and it will not work without it. Please correct me if I am wrong. If you can fix kuroo to automatically use kompare if kdiff3 is not present without forcing the user to try and figure out why it doesn't work then please submit the patch upstream. If this is already the case and I missed something please point it out too. Otherwise the dep stays. Marking as an WONTFIX, please reopen if I am wrong in any of this. The app should work for the user without them having to figure out what is wrong up on first use. Hm, howto run it again as on initial install? If rm -rf ~/.kde/share/config/.kuroorc (as root and user) is that, then KDiff3 isn't needed. That is hardly without user intervention there is it. Edit it in an overlay - I don't think that this is a bug and you haven't said anything to convince me otherwise. Even following your instructions I end up being told that kdiff3 is not present and so it cannot diff the file and it fails. This has been discussed before and I see no reason to change the dependency now. If kuroo was changed to automatically utilise kompare when kdiff3 is not present then then I think it would be reasonable to make it a dep on either one. Okay, then sorry, and thanks for your time. I'll be using KDiff3, isn't bad at all... |
