works for me on amd64 privoxy is supposed to get started by running the init.d script with the same name: /etc/init.d/privoxy start i had this working too until today. maybe it stopped working, because of the mysql upgrade. by default privoxy tries to open config file from the current directory. unless your pwd is /etc/privoxy, this command won't work. this is the way privoxy works. it may not be the perfect way, but it is kind of common behaviour among programs that could run on win32 and unix. |
