Can you please try with CFLAGS="-pipe"? Also, do you have any earlier versions
of mono installed? Thanks.
Comment 2 Nick Rout 2005-11-22 17:45:58 UTC
Believe it or not, I just ran the emerge again (without making any changes) and
this time it finished and appears to be working. Sheesh, sorry to waste anyones
time.

My CFLAGS does have -pipe in it (or are you saying to remove -pipe from CFLAGS?).

CFLAGS="-march=c3 -m3dnow -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer"

And I am a mono virgin! No previous versions.

Comment 3 Peter Johanson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-22 17:47:48 UTC
I meant make it so it is *only* CFLAGS="-pipe", nothing more.

Marking this FIXED, per your report you got it working. Please feel free to
re-open if you run into it again. Thanks.
