Description Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-22 14:38:02 UTC
As mentioned in https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101120#c2 and
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104112#c2 and I assume a
number of other times and locations gnupg-1.4.2-r2 is ready to hit the land of
stability.

The outstanding bug is bug 85263 key signing problem as root (exists in
current stable version). I don't think this should preclude its stabilisation.
Comment 1 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-22 14:54:16 UTC
I've actually been running this for some time now on my stable x86 box.
Comment 2 Scott Stoddard (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-22 15:04:57 UTC
(Given note about key signing) Good to go stable on amd64...been in use for 2
months here.
Comment 3 Marcus D. Hanwell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-22 16:13:03 UTC
Also been using it for quite some time myself, tests out fine on my stable box

Yikes, I'm sorry! I forgot I posted 104112. It was a while ago! Then, when
trying to figure which bug report was the appropriate one to jog the process, I
chose the earlier one. I can _assure_ you I did not post that any other places!
:) But I _am_ glad it's stable now. Thx.
Comment 7 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-24 08:48:45 UTC
Something to consider is bug #113474 which breaks any automatic tinderbox testing.
Comment 8 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-25 00:25:23 UTC
bug #113474 should be fixed now. Standby on bug #113521 that magiclly
appeared.
Comment 9 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-27 11:45:05 UTC
sorry - because of bug #113521 that magically became known can I change this
to a 1.4.2-r3 stabilisation. Sorry for the inconvenience.
