are you still having this problem? Have you tried a revdep-rebuild as well? After many search, I finally found that the problem was link with gnome's theme. I'm under kde, and use some gnome apps. If the gnome theme is not carefully choosen, the apps don't start with the ***glibc**** error. I chose another theme, and the problem disapear. Mayby some check to add to be sure that the gnome theme is correctly set under kde ? The problem is solved for me. Selecting a different theme is just a work-around, if there is in fact a bug in one of the gtk engines. If you want to help us find the problem, please try installing the latest stable version of gtk-engines, and if the problem persists, provide the backtrace and tell us which Gtk+ theme were you using at the time. Thanks. |
