Bug 112986

Summary: kde-base/kdeprint should depend on a preview application via a use flag

Description Petteri Räty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-19 05:15:46 UTC
kdeprint uses gv as the preview application. There should be for example a
preview use flag that pulls gv in. Without gv kdeprint complains that gv is
not installed when doing print and selecting preview so this is not something
crucial but would be nice to have.

kghostview can also be used as the preview application. See preview settings in
the print settings.
Comment 2 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-19 10:56:34 UTC
We won't add use flags for optional runtime dependencies like this one.
