Description Dirk Schoenberger 2005-11-17 13:48:03 UTC
While trying to emerge libwmf-0.2.8.3-r1 I ran into the following problem

/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc -O2 -pipe -I/usr/include/freetype2 -o libwmf.la -rpath /
usr/lib -no-undefined -version-info 8:0:1 -release 0.2 -export-dynamic font.lo stream.lo wmf.lo
xml.lo ipa/libipa.la libwmflite.la extra/gd/libgd.la -lfreetype -ljpeg -lpng -lz -lm
gcc -dynamiclib -o .libs/libwmf-0.2.7.dylib .libs/font.o .libs/stream.o .libs/wmf.o .libs/xml.o -
all_load ipa/.libs/libipa.a extra/gd/.libs/libgd.a ./.libs/libwmflite-0.2.7.0.1.dylib /usr/lib/
libfreetype.dylib /usr/lib/libjpeg.62.0.0.dylib -lpng -lz -lm -install_name /usr/lib/libwmf-0.2.7.dylib
-compatibility_version 9 -current_version 9.0
ld: common symbols not allowed with MH_DYLIB output format with the -multi_module option
extra/gd/.libs/libgd.a(gd_io_file.o) definition of common _fileIOCtxPtr (size 4)
/usr/bin/libtool: internal link edit command failed

btw, this folder specified as one of the econf/configure options, no longer exists!

--with-gsfontdir=/usr/share/ghostscript/fonts

I believe it's something like /usr/share/ghostscript/$version/lib/ or to be specific:

/usr/share/ghostscript/8.15/lib/

(A couple of fonts appear in the ./lib folder, as to if this is the correct folder, I don't know!)
