Instead of opening new tabs, all channel messages appear in the server tab with   
"GARBAGE: " in front. 

Reproducible: Always

I was told in the xchat channel that all big endian machine such as ppc and  
sparc are affected by this version 2.4.5. Down or upgrade should help. 2.6  
works fine for me, but still ~ppc.
