There's no way to enable software raid on the LiveCDs because the modules are 
not avail. Instead there's the option to use EVMS, which is a bad idea if you 
plan to use kernel 2.5, vanilla 2.4 or you simply dislike EVMS.

For the final 1.4 release I would like to see the ability to use just plain 
software.
