or we could just have hplip moved into stable What version should we be looking to mark stable? (In reply to comment #2) > What version should we be looking to mark stable? net-print/hplip-0.9.4 works on ppc without problems (since months...), but net-print/hplip-0.9.5 gives errors. See bug #107398. i think lu_zero as fixed ppc bug... but this package can't go to stable because it have a few bugs open. I was updating this package for a while but i can't really maintain it because i don't use it. So it would be great if anyone steps up to maintain it better than me. wouldn't it be better to "fix" docs then? i'll remove amd64 for now, please re-add us when these bugs are fixed and a new maintainer is found To be honest, I couldn't reproduce any of the problems with my printer. I'm using hplip-0.9.5 with a HP PSC 1315 and all is fine and dandy. Is there anyone maintaining this package to fix the bugs so we can mark this stable? If not, we should close this until someone steps up to do so. When all open bugs for this have been resolved and its ready to go stable, please readd us to CC. There are still hplip bugs pending, please remind us in the future to mark it stable. I made hplip-0.9.7-r3 stable on ppc. Builds fine and works without problems. Marked x86 stable. |
