revdep-rebuild and binary packages don't make friends... Try your luck with SEARCH_DIRS_MASK in ~arch versions of gentoolkit. For other firefox-bin issues, file a separate bug if there's not one yet. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 83852 *** There is a script in Bug #62644 that should fix this. Basically you want to Edit /etc/make.conf and add SEARCH_DIRS_MASK="<wherever it is installed. /opt I think>" This is really a problem for all binary packages on a system and as such is really a duplicate of Bug #83852 and #32276. Reopen to track mozilla/firefox issues here... this is handled by revdep-rebuild currently. You can add an file just like env.d same format to stop revdep from trying to rebuild binary packages. an example would be /etc/revdep-rebuild/11mozilla-firefox-bin with an entry like SEARCH_DIRS_MASK="/opt/firefox". Next bump we will include a revdep-rebuild entry for the users. |
