Please remove old /usr/portage/distfiles/jpnfont.tgz and re-emerge it.
Perhaps, your jpnfont.tgz is for acroread-asianfonts-5.0.20020815. It is same
name  with for acroread-asianfonts-7.0.20050728 but different.
