This file was requested added by portage when kdeedu-3.4.1-r1 crashed while
make being performed
If it happens with other packages, this is a toolchain problem. Make sure you are not going out of RAM. Then I suggest to start recompiling gcc, glibc, ... (In reply to comment #2) 1. memtest86+ ran for 24 hours without an error. 2. glibc, gcc, were recompiled resulting in same errors of likeness. Still an issue with the newest stable version of gcc, 3.4.4? Problem was very intermittant motherboard. Apparently the motherboard was shot somewhere and it worked 90% of the time during the hardware tests but fails always on this compile. Problem solved, replacement of faulty hardware. Please update records. Reopening... |
