Updated ebuild
Ebuild fails to emerge as the aimextras patch no longer applies cleanly. Please attach an updated ebuild that removes this, or an updated patch that applies cleanly to 0.99 Actually just attach an ebuild that removes the aimextras logic. It appears the AIM patches are now part of 0.99 Will do, just a few moments.. Created attachment 72260 [details]

Hrm, not sure what is going on here yet, but if you run repoman to check that ebuild, it has major issues with syntax. Ah it seems the ebuild has DOS end of line characters on it for some reason. Please fix this and make sure the leading white space on line 10 contains tabs where it can instead of spaces. Heh sorry, I was using Microsoft Windows when I revised the ebuild - I'll convert it As for spaces->tabs, I can't agree with you there, unless it's sort of a (stupid) standard to prefer tabs over spaces, as spaces may consume a few more bytes but all edtiors with mono-spaced fonts will display the file correctly, where as some set tab width to 4, some 8 and some even 6. I'll fix it and re-post. Created attachment 72332 [details]
Trivial format fixes to earlier ebuild
(Why can't you do this yourself? :P)
Now in portage, thanks for the ebuild :) Basically why I can't do it stems from decisions made on copyright issues on user-contributed ebuilds. |
