$ euse -i subversion global use flags (searching: subversion) ************************************************************ no matching entries found local use flags (searching: subversion) ************************************************************ [- ] subversion (dev-util/kdevelop): Enable support for the subversion version control system [- ] subversion (kde-base/kdesdk-meta): Enable support for the subversion ioslave [- ] subversion (kde-base/kdesdk): Enable support for the subversion ioslave Forgive me the false alarm; it seems I don't fully understand this local vs. global use flag thing. Perhaps this is not the best place to ask, but I thought the USE flags should be unique... if they are not, how to determine their meaning when installing software? ufed only shows one description... and sometimes when I activate flag I consider local in ufed, I, unbeknownst, can activate another local flag in some another package, which may be not what I wanted. As an aside, perhaps the flag in question should be made global? It seems universal enough. Or maybe there is some global flag that could be used instead. |
